Details
Body (from Message Center)
We are announcing the ability to use general journals against projects for customers using Dynamics 365 Project Operations Integrated with ERP deployment types. This feature will reach general availability on December 26, 2025.
How does this affect me?
With this update, you can now create and post expense-type general journals in Dynamics 365 Finance that integrate directly with Microsoft Dataverse. This enhancement relaxes previous restrictions and enables journals created in Finance to flow back into Dataverse as project actuals, using a new posting approach that removes the need for an expense integration account.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
