Summary: We collect minimal data, only what's necessary to provide the service. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 E-mail Digest Subscriptions
There is no sign-in and no user account. The only personal data we hold is what you give us when you subscribe to the e-mail digest:
- Email address - The address the digest is sent to
- Subscription timestamps - When the address was submitted and when it was confirmed
- Random tokens - One to confirm the subscription, one for the unsubscribe link
We use double opt-in: an address receives a single confirmation message, and nothing more until the link in it is clicked. Unconfirmed addresses never receive a digest.
1.2 Usage Information
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the service:
- Pages visited and features used
- Search terms (anonymized for service improvement)
- Error logs for troubleshooting
1.3 Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking or logins. The site stores your filter, sort and month preferences so the page looks the same when you come back. These:
- Contain only your display preferences, never personal data
- Stay in your own browser
- Do not track you across other websites
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Send the e-mail digest you asked for, and confirm that you asked for it
- Remember your display preferences in your own browser
- Prevent abuse of the subscription form
- Improve service quality

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:
- When required by law
- To protect our rights or safety
- With service providers who help operate the service (under strict confidentiality)
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
- Access to the subscriber list restricted to the service's own managed identity
- Regular security reviews
5. Data Retention
A subscribed e-mail address is kept until you unsubscribe, at which point it is deleted. An address that is submitted but never confirmed carries a confirmation link valid for 7 days. You can request deletion of your data by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any digest
7. Third-Party Services
The Service uses:
- Azure OpenAI - To generate the summaries, topics and tags shown for each post. Only the text of the public Message Center post is sent; no personal data and no tenant data are sent
- Azure Communication Services - To deliver confirmation and digest e-mails
- Azure Application Insights - For anonymous analytics
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service.
