Details
Body (from Message Center)
We are announcing the ability to archive project cost actuals with long-term retention in Dynamics 365 Project Operations. This feature will reach public preview on September 11, 2026.
How does this affect me?
This feature adds a Project staging table actuals scenario to the Archive with Dataverse long term retention workspace. When creating an archive job, administrators select Cost as the transaction type, specify a from and to date and time, and select one or more legal entities. The job archives eligible processed cost actuals from the project actuals staging table and related cost transaction relationship records when they exist. The workspace displays job status and progress and provides access to archived project actuals after the move-to-history process completes. Cost actuals without related unbilled sales connections are also supported.
What action do I need to take?
This message is for awareness, and no action is required.
