Introduction

To streamline and improve integration experiences for education customers, we’re retiring several legacy Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) integrations in Microsoft 365. These tools will be replaced by the unified Microsoft 365 LTI tool, which offers enhanced functionality and ongoing support.

When this will happen:

The following Education LTI tools will be retired worldwide on September 17, 2026:

Teams Assignments LTI
OneDrive LTI
OneNote Class Notebook LTI
Reflect LTI

Who is affected: Education tenants currently using any of the listed LTI integrations.
What will happen:
